The Art of Emotional Awareness in an immersive and transformative experience, designed to enhance social and emotional intelligence through the power of colour. This group art therapy experience will empower caregivers and children to explore and express their emotions in a safe and supportive environment through the creation of a beautiful and personal watercolour mandala. This experience will assist is understanding the interactions between thoughts, feelings and physical sensations whilst nurturing deeper understanding of connection between children and their caregivers. Participants will expand the vocabulary used to describe emotions, understand the range of physical responses and strategise ways to regulate and manage emotions.
