Experience this most iconic of wine regions with the expertise of our local guides and travel in comfort in one of our modern, air-conditioned buses seating between 9 and 13 guests.

Start your day with a collection at your door from either a
hotel or other accommodations within Barossa area. Learn a little about the
history of the iconic Barossa Valley as you
travel in comfort in a modern vehicle fleet on your way to your first location.

DURING COVID-19 RESTRICTIONS THERE WILL BE SOME ADJUSTMENT TO THE PLACES WE VISIT ON TOUR, THANK YOU FOR YOUR PATIENCE

Start your day with experiencing the majesty of the
Seppeltsfield Winery Estate, an historic icon of the Barossa, and integral part
of its storied history. Learn the story of the Seppelt family, the phenomenal
fortified wines upon which they have built their reputation and taste a broad
range of their current wine offerings. Don’t forget to ask about the Centennial
collection, the only wine collection of wines of its type in the world with
more than 120 years of consecutive vintages currently stored in the
barrel.

Guests will continue their exploration of the Seppeltsfield Estate’s varied wonders with a
visit to Vasse Virgin, a marvel of natural products based on virgin olive oil.
Treat your skin to these all-natural products or taste the wonders of
Australian-made virgin olive oil. A beautiful collection of skin & body
care products, gourmet food, and a great place to pick up a special gift for
the loved ones that couldn’t make it with you to the Barossa.

Next stop a wonderful family owned cellar door - Dell’Uva
Wines. Guests will enjoy a truly unique offering at this boutique cellar door,
which provides a taste of what the Barossa Valley is becoming more and more
known for. Dell'uva offer a different take on the status quo, with one of the
largest collections of varietals in the country. With more than 40 different
European varietals, you will expand your appreciation of what the valley can
offer beyond the classic big reds of Shiraz and Cabernet. This venue also
showcases the forgotten art of amphorae (fermentation in wax-lined clay pots),
and there is plenty to learn and lots to sample.

No trip to the Barossa would be complete without a stop at
the Farm Shop home of one of Australia's most celebrated Gourmet Food
Ambassadors, Maggie Beer. Guests can explore the farm shop and taste a wide
variety of Maggie's delicacies. Wander the picturesque grounds taking in the
sights, sounds, and smells of the farm, complete with a beautiful lagoon with
resident ducks and turtles to entertain and delight.

After the first few stops of the day it is not uncommon to
get a little peckish — so you will now grab some lunch. You will enjoy a
gourmet platter style lunch of local produce such as traditional German-style
smoked meats (in fitting with the region's history), gourmet cheese, locally
baked bread, and other goodies. The lunch location varies based on venue
availability and includes wineries such as Chateau Tanunda, Z Wines. Even after a lunch stop, there is always room
for a little cheese tasting — especially when it is a selection from the
award-winning Barossa Valley Cheese Company, an artisan cheese producer
utilizing local dairy where possible, with a focus on soft cheese styles.
Ask us about upgrading to the Wine and Cheese Matching Experience, or what about the Tea & Cheese Matching or Gin, Beer, Port and Cidar Cheese Matching Experience. Extra cost applies. Cheese keeps very well, and you will certainly be able to make some purchases
to be enjoyed later, or to be shared with friends. (2021 Barossa Cheese have advised they are only opening Thursday-Sunday due to Covid) a substitute location will be included on these days.

Next up, it's time for a survey of the valley, from the
valley's most recognized viewpoint, Mengler's Hill. From here guests will take
in the views of the sweeping valley, from eastern to western ridge and all the
way to the wheat-belt. Your experienced and knowledgeable guide will point out
specific landmarks and explain a little of the regions and the different
vineyards you can see from here. This is also a perfect photo-opportunity so
practice your selfie skills here (your guides are on hand to help you take the
perfect framed shot).

Finally, experience the premium wines and local hospitality
of one of the region's boutique wineries such as Z Wines in Tanunda. Owned and
operated by sisters with a long family history in the valley, their family
lineage goes back to some of the very first settlers here. As both wine-makers
and wine-marketers, the sisters are producing spectacular wines and serve them
to guests in a gorgeous cellar door setting with a truly unique decor. Other
cellar doors that may be substituted based on availability include Rosenvale
Wines, Thorn Clark in the Eden Valley region, Grant Burge Wines, Chateau
Tanunda among others. *Locations subject to change.
